Birthday Anniversary of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Thailand’s Father day

On 2 December 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, Birthday Anniversary of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Thailand’s Father day at Steigenberger Hotel, Brussels. On this occasion, the H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand and Head of Mission to the European Union delivered the opening remarks, joined by Mr. Gunnar Wiegand, Managing Director for Asia and Pacific, European External Action Service (EEAS). The reception was attended by members of diplomatic community in Brussels, friends of Thailand from both public and private sectors and representatives of Thai community in Belgium.



On the 4 December 2019, the Embassy hosted a reception for this auspicious occasion in Luxembourg. The reception also celebrates the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic relations between Thailand and Luxembourg. The Ambassador delivered the opening remarks, joined by H.E. Mrs. Sylvie Lucas, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg. The reception was attended by members of diplomatic community in Luxembourg, friends of Thailand from both public and private sectors and representatives of Thai community in Luxembourg.


The music of the evenings were the musical compositions of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, performed by Mr Darin Pantoomkomol, Chair of Jazz Department from College of Music, Mahidol University (the Pianist), and Mr Krit Buranavitayawut, a saxophone instructor from College of Music, Mahidol University (the Saxophonist).
